About the Role

Bookkeeper
Full-time | Permanent | Competitive Salary (DOE)
A detail-driven Bookkeeper is sought to bring order to a fast-moving, multi-million pound business with stock operations across several locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
Process purchase and sales invoices
Manage supplier accounts and payment runs
Track stock movements, assist with valuations and support month-end using CIN7
Maintain accurate financial records in Xero
Support VAT returns, cashflow updates and financial reporting
Help improve finance systems and processes as the business scales

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

Solid bookkeeping experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
Experience with stock/inventory accounting
Proficiency in accounting platforms (Xero, Sage or QuickBooks)
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
Organised, accurate approach with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams

Experience in retail, FMCG, farming, manufacturing or stock-heavy environments is desirable.
